Liquid kids MAME intro and demo

Liquid Kids (???????, Mizubaku Daibouken) is an arcade videogame released by Taito in 1990. Liquid Kids is a single player platform game that features Hipopo, a hippopotamus who must fight his way through a large number of enemy-packed levels in search of his missing girlfriend - rescuing other hippo-like creatures along the way. Hipopo is armed with water bombs which can be thrown at enemies to soak and damage them. Once soaked, the enemies can then be kicked and destroyed completely. Enemies left unkicked however will dry out and recover after a short period of time.

A side-scrolling beat 'em up based loosely on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, the game features an RPG-like level advancement system, with fighters getting new weapons and armour as they advance through the game, however the player can not choose how to upgrade his/her character - the level up system is static

King of dragons MAME intro and demo

The King of Dragons is a 1991 side-scrolling hack and slash arcade game by Capcom that allows players to choose from five characters (Elf, Wizard, Fighter, Cleric, and Dwarf) in order to travel through the kingdom of Malus and defeat the monsters that have taken over, as well as their leader, the red dragon Gildiss. The setting is very similar to that of Dungeons and Dragons and other medieval fantasy worlds, with familiar monsters such as Orcs, Gnolls, Harpies, Wyverns, Cyclopes, and Minotaurs. The game has 16 levels, though many are quite short.

Kid Niki: Radical Ninja MAME intro and demo

Kid Niki: Radical Ninja, released in Japan as Kaiketsu Yanchamaru (???????, Kaiketsu Yanchamaru "The Wonderful Yanchamaru"), an arcade game released in 1986 by Irem. In 1987, Data East released ports of the game for the NES, Commodore 64, and Apple II. Curiously, all home versions of the game show screen shots from the graphically superior arcade version on the back of their boxes. It was one of the more successful games released by Data East. The differences between the Kid Niki: Radical Ninja and Kaiketsu Yancha Maru are minimal. Aside from text translation, the most glaring difference is the main character's hair style. Kid Niki's hair is more "punk rock" with wild spikes and a ponytail in the back. Yancha Maru's hair has more subdued spikes and a topknot (or chonmage). It's also worth noting that in the arcade version of the game, the main character's keikogi is yellow while it is red in the home ports.

Kangaroo MAME intro and demo

Kangaroo is an arcade game that was released in 1982. It was manufactured by Sun Electronics but distributed by Atari. The game bears a strong resemblance in terms of gameplay and plot to Donkey Kong Junior. The player takes the role of a mother kangaroo who is trying to rescue her son. She must climb through treetops, while disabling pink monkeys that attack the kangaroo with apples. Points are scored for defeating enemies, completing levels, and eating the fruit scattered through the levels.
